Referendum = tax increase
The referendum will cost more than $312,000,000. Your property taxes will increase if the referendum passes. The communities that the district serves have some of the highest property taxes in the nation and many of us just had another increase in our assessments. This added tax increase will hit the most vulnerable residents in our community the hardest. In the recent D87 survey, 77% of the community agreed that we can’t afford higher property taxes.
